Founded in 1994, and acquired by Visa in 2010, Cybersource is one of the pioneers in eCommerce payment and fraud management services.

When they came to us for help with their rebrand in 2019, their ambition was to create a refreshed identity that would show their true colours as a modern, agile, and innovative fintech.

Working with leaders across the business, we discovered Cybersource’s strengths were all about people: the team spirit, client relationships, and their experience and understanding of the end user. We developed this insight into a brand idea, ‘for the people at the heart of every transaction’.

With the positioning determined, we created an identity to champion people and show how the Cybersource platform works. We developed an extensive brand identity system covering all aspects of branding and communication, including detailed guidance to help markets activate and design materials for a global audience.
